Gmail is more handy than others

Hi friends, today morning was a busy time for me and I had to rush out for an urgent work to the city but before that I needed to check all my mail accounts. I was in a hurry and when I sat in front of my computer to check emails, I found it very difficult to manage so many mail accounts. That time I reminded the advice given by one of my seniors in the office. I followed it and found it very handy for me and I’ve fallen in love of Gmail. :)

You guys can also try it out. Here are the steps involved:

Suppose yourname@gmail.com is the main account that you used to check everyday.

  • Now open your gmail account. Go to settings -> Accounts.
  • Create accounts with the your other mail ids. gmail1
  • Suppose you have added yourname2@gmail.com, it will send a verification code to yourname2@gmail.com asking you to allow its access from your primary account i.e. yourname@gmail.com. Put the verification code here gmail2
  • Now open yourname2@gmail.com account. Got to settings -> Filters. Create a filter with the following settings: gmail3 Then Click on next button and make the following settings:gmail4
  • Now open yourname@gmail.com again. Go to settings -> Filters. Create a filter as shown above (in To field, put yourname2@gmail.com). Click next button. Create label with appropriate name with the following settings:gmail5
  • That’s all. Repeat the same procedure for all other mail accounts that you handle everyday.

Now I’m able to save much time maintaining different mail accounts from one mail account. Do you like it? If yes, don’t forget to comment on it. :)
